Qualifications for Appointment:
A) All members of Boards, Commissions, and Committees shall meet the following minimum qualifications upon their appointment, unless the City Council by a majority vote waives or alters the requirement: (1) at least eighteen (18) years of age, (2) a full-time resident of the City of Litchfield Park for at least one (1) year. Residency will be determined in the same manner as residency is determined for purposes of voting in City elections.
(B) City employees or appointed officers shall not be eligible for appointment to any Board, Commission or Committee, but may be requested to provide support thereto. Councilmembers may serve on Boards, Commissions or Committees, unless provided otherwise. (Per Section 11.3, City Council Rules and Procedures)
